Dry with periods of sunshine, fog and frosts
After a chilly start across most parts during Monday morning, it will become mostly dry with some sunny spells across many parts. It will remain a little windy and cloudy over Scotland and parts of northern England, with some rain showers pushing into western parts of Scotland throughout Monday and into Tuesday.
As we progress throughout the remainder of the working week, it will remain relatively dry across most parts. However, it will also remain cloudy with some more pleasant bursts of sunny spells pushing through at times. The best of any prolonged sunny spells are more likely across parts of southern and eastern England. The evenings will also feel particularly chilly at times throughout the new working week, leading to some slight ground frosts in places. Fog is also likely to become a prominent feature at times, and in some instances may become very slow to clear in large parts of the country.
